Happy Friday! After a kind of chilly week, we are finally going to have some summery weather this weekend. To say I’m looking forward to it is definitely an understatement. I’m really excited to throw on my bathing suit and spend some time reading by the pool. I think it’s going to be a family barbecue day on Sunday, so that just means more hanging with my favorite people in the world anxiously waiting for my nephew to get here!
This week for Friday’s Fancies we’re tackling shorts. I think shorts look gorgeous on some people, I’m just not one of those people. I love these two outfits and would love to see them on my sister or mother, both of whom look stunning in shorts.
There are so many lovely pieces there, I wish they would all just jump into my closet.
Cross your fingers and maybe we’ll get a surprise appearance by my nephew this weekend. Eeek. I can’t wait to meet him, this waiting game is killing me!

I love both outfits too but I look terrible in shorts!!! I wish my legs look like they did when I was 20 but I hated them back then too!
