I haven't showed off any of my favorite photographers in quite a while and I think it's about time! I love looking at pictures and wedding pictures are by far my favorite. I swear I could hang canvases of any of these following pictures around my house and I don't know any of these people! I'm just so taken by wedding photography. There is something so lovely about it.
Today's photographer is Christina of Christina Carroll Photography. She's based out of Austin, Texas but available to travel anywhere. I love how she captures happiness. When you look at her pictures you can feel the love and joy that the subjects were feeling in that moment. These are just a few of my favorites, you can find many, many more on her website. All of these photos are property of Christina Carroll Photography and were found on her blog.
Love this moment...People love to watch the portraits and I love that she turned the camera around on them...
This one is definitely by far my favorite! Like no one else is there, they are just all about each other.

think pink
When Alison sent out the email telling us the theme for this week's Friday Fancies I was super excited to give this a go. My family as a whole has been pretty darn lucky (*knock on wood*) when it comes to breast cancer, and I like to think that we fully understand just how lucky we are. I feel like these days everyone knows at least someone who has been touched by breast cancer. I'd like to tribute my look today to a girl I went to high school with, who at 26 is already a breast cancer survivor. It breaks my heart, and honestly totally freaks me out that she has already fought and kicked it's tush!
I love this entire outfit. I think I'm going to have to track down that coat and purse because I think I need them in my life.

be very merry
I had a completely different post in mind for today, but then yesterday I got an onslaught of holiday catalogs in the mail. The one in particular that I fell in love with was crate and barrel. I know I've been a little Christmas obsessed for the last few days, but bear with me just for today! I'll be back with more seasonally appropriate posts tomorrow when I like up with Alison for Friday Fancies in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
I love purple. It's kind of an obsession really. I love this bowl with the ornaments and in reality it doesn't have to be just for Christmas! Here.
I usually already have two Christmas trees but I can't get over how much I'd love these as a table decoration. It is the perfect way to show off some of my favorite ornaments. Here.
You can't really see it in this picture, but the tumbler says "happy" all over it. Definitely a fun way to keep people's spirits lifted during the holiday season. Here.
These towels are awesome. I definitely will be adding them to my Christmas decor this year. Not only that, but I will probably buy them for some of my Aunts and Uncles too. I love this sentiment. be very merry. Here.
So if I have the towels obviously I then need the matching plate! This says Eat, Drink and be very Merry. I really love the idea. Here.
I might have a small obsession with appetizer plates. I love the size and I love when they are all mismatched yet sort of coordinating. I love the very modern style of this kind of traditional pattern on this one. Here.
How do you not fall completely in love with this elf and his little asterisk snow flakes? He is too cute! Love him. Here.
Love this one too, just simple and classic. This plate is exactly why I don't want all super matchy ones. I would never be able to find a single pattern that encompasses all of my different styles. Here.
Love this! It is just so simple and pretty, it would match any decor. Plus during the Christmas season it is almost a law that you have to have fresh homemade cookies on hand! Here.

holidays are coming!
I love that the holiday season is approaching. I love this time of year, from today until new years there is just so much fun to be had. I love celebrating and there is just so much to celebrate!

I love this! The Santa hats really make this awesome. Looks delicious too!
LOVE these. I really need to carry these with me Black Friday shopping! Sometimes people need to take a deep breath!
So pretty. I would love this printed as an ornament on the tree.
Love the brooch on the stocking. This is definitely a place where adding a bit of sparkle is always a good thing!
Love this. Initials as gift tags. Unfortunately my sisters are also J names and my little sister has the same initials as me, JMM, so I suppose this won't work in my family.
Another way to add sparkle to stockings!
This is too cute. I have seen these done before, but I think the sparkle really makes them awesome.
So pretty. Fluffy and festive.
I really like this pillow. I am SO not that talented.
Another fun way to decorate presents!
I think I need to make these. They are so pretty!
brr. it is chilly outside!
Mmmm. Home made caramel. I think I'll make some of this for my Aunts this holiday season!

Here are some of my favorite holiday pins that I've found over the last couple weeks. I'm loving all of this "pinspiration"!!

west elm love
The holidays are approaching quickly and I don't think I could be more excited about it. There is something about the smell of fall in the air, the crisp leaves under my feet and the anticipation knowing the Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner that just makes my heart be a little bit faster. This time of year is by far my favorite.
With the thoughts of Thanksgiving and Christmas on my mind, I was browsing the West Elm site looking for some goodies. I came across some that I might need to have for some of the upcoming parties.
I love these serving bowls, the hammered metal is beautiful and I think silver makes the bright festive foods stand out. Found here.
Cheers is probably one of my favorite sayings for the holiday seasons and that font is stunning! Found here.
Super adorable appetizer plates, I love the Christmas tree one the most I think. Found here.
Simple cloth napkins are fantastic against some of my more glitzy holiday decorations. Found here.
I need these. Gobble! Wish! Give! Thanks! Oh gosh they are so beautiful and fun. I'm in love. Found here.

monday came too soon
I don't know about you, but I'm definitely not ready for Monday to be here already. This weekend was wonderful but far too fast.
Friday ended up being pretty amazing. Mom, Jess and I went to Danbury and did some shopping. Jess had to go to the apple store and luckily it was a crazy fast process. Super nice and easy! Then we went to old navy because they have been flooding my inbox with news of some amazing sale they are having right now. Apparently 50% off online and up to 75% off in stores. I had some insane luck! I got myself 3 shirts for less than $15!! That's the kind of money I'm alright with spending on my ever changing body. Then we met up with my friend Kristyn and went to dinner. Mom and Jess had been craving deep dish pizza (something I can totally live without) so we ended up going to Uno's. I wasn't so thrilled with the choice of restaurant, but it was fine. I ended up having a grilled chicken wrap with craisins in it, so that was pretty yummy. Then we helped Kristyn find accessories to go with a dress she borrowed from my mom to wear to the wedding. We had a blast and I was super thankful for the girl's night at the mall.
Kristyn brought me my first official Sugar Hoot t-shirt. I was so excited about it!! I'm completely in love with it. She picked pink for me, and I love the new design of the shirts. So now I can finally look official while working there!
Saturday was pretty boring and mom and I just hung out. I felt like complete poop! Super congested and I had terrible post nasal drip which caused awful sore throat. Yuck! I tried to get as much rest as possible, but I did run a few errands. While out and about I stopped at Marshalls and I fell completely in love with this running outfit. I need it!!
I mean really, it is a "holiday sweater" cold gear (not under armour) shirt!!! But those pants are under armour cold gear, and I love them!
Sunday I went out to cheer Jenni on for her first 5k. She did fantastic, especially for a first timer! She ended up having to walk the last tiny bit because her knee gave out, but I was so excited for her as she finished!
I feel like this weekend recap just got far too long...Oops! How did you spend your weekend? Do anything fun and exciting??
