cookie weekend

With this being the last weekend before Christmas, it is cookie weekend around here! Saturday night everyone is heading to my cousin's house for party night and then we'll be up early for cookie Sunday! I'm super excited about it. We will make (what seems like) 4billion cookies and some of them might even get baked...We're big fans of cookie dough in this family! We have a recipe for Chocolate chip cookies that makes the absolute best cookie dough you've ever tasted. The cooked cookie is pretty good, but the dough is spectacular. I'm pretty stoked about it!
This week's theme for Friday Fancies was sparkle and shine. No one loves sparkle more than I do, so I was totally excited to come up with an outfit for this one.

kate spade - how i love thee

I have a serious kate spade addiction. It all started back in 2005 when I got my very first "sam" bag for Christmas. When I unwrapped the package and saw the vibrant green box, I knew exactly what was inside. I swear I could have peed my pants! Since then my love affair with her has not faltered at all. I have 6 bags, the day planner, decks of cards, party planning books and a wallet. It is a small obsession. I want to share some of the things I'm currently lusting over.

a bit of bling.

I'm in love. I have the most wonderful man in my life, he makes me incredibly happy. The giddy butterfly feeling in my stomach is overwhelming sometimes, but is always great. I love daydreaming of sparkly rings, lusting over the insane ones and yearning for the more practical ones. I thought I'd share a few of my favorites with you today!
